Replying to the owner, ok I will definitely come and give it another try. But I was explicitly told you guys would not put bell pepper and cucumber on my meatball sub. I even asked if I could pay extra and was told no. (I get that might seem like a cardinal sin, but I've always liked it like that.) Everything I wrote below applies, love this place yummy sandwiches very good bread! But the fact that you can't get a sandwich the way you want it leave something to be desired.

Outstanding! Give me 14 more of their Sandwiches!!!! It's a little hole in the wall place, parking is crazy and the inside is always packed but it's because their sandwiches are amazing! I got their Tuna Sandwich on Crunchy Bread, Loaded and I really enjoyed it! So much flavor and a good size sandwich as well! My buddy got the Turkey & Roast Beef! I didn't get a pic of his sandwich but he said it was really good! Probably my favorite Sandwich spot so far in the Valley!

Cricca's Italian Deli & Subs is a must-visit! The owner is amazing and has such a big heart for fur babies--he even gave my dog, Stella, some delicious turkey for doing tricks! The hot pastrami is beyond words--just WHOA! The portions are generous and perfect for sharing if you want. The spot itself is super cute, with a cozy little area inside where you can sit at the counter, plus adorable tables outside. You can call ahead to place your order, which is super convenient. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great deli experience!

Took me 5 years to grab another sandwich apparently. The godfather was quite delicious. The husband got the Dillinger sub. We split the sandwiches 50/50 but the Godfather was my favorite! I had been working on getting rid of a craving I had for an Italian sandwich. The Dillinger was ok, too much caraway for my liking but I know that is a specific personal preference. Used DoorDash delivery- totally worth it!

Wow, the sandwiches are massive and delicious. Definitely enough to share or for two meals. The deli meats are Boars Head, fresh and stuffed in either a soft, crunchy or Dutch roll. I recommend crunchy which is most like a baguette. The service is pretty fast and assertive so be ready when it's your turn. It kinda reminded me of a NY deli on Seinfeld, in the vein of the Soup Nazi. It's a small space, deli vibes with just a few tables. Great to pick up for a road trip or picnic. They have both hot and cold sandwiches. We had cold but I'll be going back for a hot pastrami.

The chain shops are what they are. Criccas is so much different, and SO much better. Everything is fresh and tasty, from the breads (their Rye bread is amazing), to the veggies, and especially the meats. I love their Salami + Ham, the Pastrami is divine, and the Sausage & Peppers rocks! I could write more; all you really need to know is they're the best Deli in L.A. So memorize their location & hours and get your plan together already.

This was such a great vibe sandwich spot that I'd happily return to next time I'm in the area. We asked their favorites but they're listed right up there. However, apparently they won best meatball sandwich in the valley! Ok, I'm in. Half sausage too for good measure. The girl love pastrami so we got her the Al Capone. The pastrami is lean, and they let us know that ahead of time. To me, maybe a bit lean. It lost a bit of the flavor she loves so much. But I can't knock them because they definitely told us. The meatball and sausage sammy? Delightful. A whole lot of cheese on it though so bear that in mind. It was certainly the first to be devoured, along with some great chips we found in their selection. I love the old school deli vibes. What a little gem.
